Our story
Why this exists
Silver Swing was born from a simple observation: many golfers from België and Nederland share the same wish. They want to keep playing in winter, but not be away for months. They want quality, convenience, and the company of like-minded people. And they want someone to arrange everything — so they only need to bring their clubs.
We organise golf trips to the most beautiful courses in Zuid-Europa. Small groups, established destinations, everything taken care of from greenfees to dinners. Not a tour operator, not a group trip — but the atmosphere of a private club travelling. With a dedicated golf professional who accompanies every trip, knows your game, and helps you improve.
Your golf pro
Olivier Philips
Olivier grew up with golf — he started at age ten at Drie Eycken in Edegem and knew early on that he wanted to make the game his profession. After a career as teaching professional at The National Golf Brussels, he now works from Kempense Golf in Mol, where he guides golfers of every level.
As the resident golf pro of Silver Swing, Olivier joins every trip. He knows the participants, follows their development season after season, and tailors his coaching to each individual game. Not a one-time clinic, but an ongoing collaboration that ensures you return better from every trip.

Thibaut Leys
Thibaut Leys Thibaut (°29 oktober 1996) is pas 29, maar heeft nu al een indrukwekkend parcours achter de rug — zowel op als naast de baan. Van de tour naar het lesveld Al 10 jaar golfprofessional, waarvan 6 jaar op hoog niveau. Thibaut speelde op de Pro Golf Tour en de Challenge Tour, waar hij zich mat met zeer goede Europese spelers. Die ervaring op topniveau brengt hij nu mee naar elke les en elke golfreis.
De beste van België Geen toeval, maar een patroon: in 2022, 2023 én 2024 was Thibaut de nummer 1 van België volgens de Royal PGA of Belgium. Drie jaar op rij. Dat is geen geluk — dat is klasse. Datagedreven coaching met Trackman Thibaut geeft les bij Millenniumgolf en Golfforum, en gebruikt daarbij Trackman — de meest geavanceerde launch monitor in de golfsport. Geen giswerk, maar harde data over je swing, balvlucht en impact. Zo haalt hij het beste uit elke golfer, van beginner tot gevorderd.

Tinne Wellens
Tinne ensures everything around the trips runs flawlessly — from administration and planning to communication with participants. With her experience in organisation and HR at various companies and her eye for detail, she keeps all the moving parts together. Tinne is the first point of contact for participants and ensures each trip runs smoothly and enjoyably. Tinne is also an enthusiastic golfer herself, so she understands what participants are looking for in a winter golf experience.
Website & IT
Jan Van Riel
Jan builds and maintains the website and digital infrastructure. With more than forty years of experience in the technology sector — including various startups and large companies — he brings his technical background to developing the platform behind Silver Swing. Jan ensures the website runs smoothly, that bookings and payments work properly, and that all digital systems are secure and up-to-date. He is also responsible for implementing new features based on participant feedback, ensuring the online experience is just as enjoyable as the trips themselves. Jan is also an avid golfer.
